Admissions Information
CCC accepts applications beginning in September for the following year. Applicants are required to tour CCC within 6 months before applying. CCC is currently accepting applications for the fall of 2012.

In light of the recent passage of a California law that changes the birthday cut-off date from Dec. 1 to September 1 for kids entering Kindergarten, CCC will mimic the state's phase-in timeline:

For admission for Fall 2011
children must be 3 years old by October 1, 2011 to enter the front yard.
children must be 4 years old by October 1, 2011 to enter the back yard.
For admission for Fall 2012
children must be 3 years old by September 1, 2012 to enter the front yard.
children must be 4 years old by September 1, 2012 to enter the back yard.
Children who turn miss the age cutoffs above but will be the correct age by December 2 may still apply, but these applications will be given lower priority and only accepted if we are unable to fill the classrooms with the desired age requirements.

The first enrollment priority is given to alumni families and staff in good standing who have been members of CCC within the past 10 years.  Families must apply by December 1 to qualify for this priority.

The Non-alumni applications received between September 1 and December 1 have the next priority as the first pool of applicants.  When filling the yards at CCC our goal is to achieve a balance of ages, genders, extended care program needs, ethnicities, economic classes, and family structures.  The number of enrollment slots available for September in both the front and back yard classes is determined in early spring and enrollment offers are issued in March.

Once invited to enroll, families have one week to confirm enrollment with a non-refundable, $75 registration fee and a last-month tuition deposit.  CCC strives to make financial aid available for families who need it.  The application for financial aid is due by February 1.

CCC's Fall Open House is Saturday, November 5, 2011, 9:30 am - noon.

While your child explores the magical school grounds, you will have a chance to meet and ask questions of the committed teachers and current families. CCC strives to have a diverse community and welcomes all families."
